The beginning.
Staying fit and healthy can do a lot for your quality of life. In Jesseca and David's case, it led them to each other. Mutual friends introduced the pair due to their similar interested in a healthy lifestyle, as Jesseca is a personal trainer and aerobics instructor, while David is a chiropractor. Two and a half years later, David brought home a surprise for Jesseca: A puppy dog with a bow around its neck and a ring attached to her collar. "I wasn't sure which to be more excited about, the puppy or the ring!" Jesseca says, jokingly. "Of course, I said yes!" The pair named the puppy Trinity and worked on training so she could be the ring bearer during the ceremony.

The ceremony. Jesseca walked down the aisle to marry David in a mermaid-style Winne Couture wedding dress. The marriage was witnessed by 160 guests, including six bridesmaids wearing lagoon-colored gowns with a diamond side clasp from Jordan Bridal Wear, as well as six groomsmen. Jesseca reminiscences about the day, remembering the feelings she experienced while walking toward her future husband. "My father walked me down the aisle, and it was just so special," she says. "All I could do was smile. I loved looking at Dave look at me walk down in my awesome dress."

The dancing. "We wanted our reception to be a big friends and family dance party," Jesseca says, starting with a choreographed rumba routine that the newlyweds performed for their guests after being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time. Later, they did their first dance to "Take me Away," by Lifehouse, and Jesseca danced with her father to "Stand by Me," by Otis Redding. David's mother-son dance was done to "Because You Loved Me," by Celine Dion.

The cake. There was plenty of sugar at the wedding, but the wedding cake was Jesseca's favorite food of the night. A four-tiered, beach-themed confection, the cake was covered in vanilla buttercream and decorated with sugar seashells and pearl beads. The largest layer of the cake, as well as the top layer that the newlyweds took home, was chocolate flavored with a chocolate ganache filling. The next two layers were almond cake with both vanilla and chocolate buttercream filling.

The honeymoon. Jesseca and David traveled to sunny St. Lucia after their wedding, staying at the Windjammer resort. "St. Lucia is a beautifully lush island," Jesseca says. "All the resorts are built up into the mountains and overlook the beach," so each day, they took a tram down to the beach and local restaurants. They stayed in a villa in the treetops with a private plunge pool that overlooked the ocean. "It felt like we were in the movie, Swiss Family Robinson," she says. "We spent our time eating, drinking, relaxing in the sun, and, of course, enjoying being the new Mr. and Mrs. Brown."
