Recently, we took our bride on a quest through the history of love without even leaving Annapolis. Our location was founded here in 1696 as King William’s School and chartered in 1784 as St. John’s College (SJC). More than just a college, SJC stakes a claim in not only the history of Maryland, but of the entire country. The college is known for its liberal arts program that centers on the great books and ideas of Western culture. Taking notes from a few of the great free thinkers and writers of all time, our bride, Alexandra, gathered inspiration for a gorgeous day on the campus of St. John’s College exploring the philosophy of love.
