Cooking Sous Vide (Adult Class) Friday February 24th, 6:30PM-8:30PM Guest Chef: Ted Tyler After receiving a degree in culinary arts management, Ted worked in a variety of restaurants and catering operations in the Annapolis and Baltimore area. He spent a number of years in the pastry world as well as a pastry cook for Chop House in Annapolis and as a pastry chef working for French Master Pastry Chef Theo Pary with Amero Foods in an R&D environment. Ted is currently a Prepared Foods Team Leader with Whole Foods Market at their Columbia location and has been with the company since 2012. From a perfectly tender 48 hour brisket to a no fail medium rare steak to a perfectly poached egg… students will learn practical at home applications for achieving the perfect temperature and texture of their food using sous vide method and technology. On the Menu: Spinach Salad with Poached Egg Lemon and Tarragon Poached Salmon Reverse Sear Rib Eye 48 Hour Brisket in Tomato Gravy Seasonal Sous Vide Vegetables Cost: $40. per person.
