World Tai Chi and Qigong Day

Movement and meditation free mini-classes

Each year on the last Saturday of April, people all over the world join together to celebrate World Tai Chi and Qigong Day. Come be a part of this event at the Gampopa Center of Annapolis. Two free mini-classes will be offered. No registration is needed, all are welcome!

12:30pm - 1:30pm

Hearten Practices: Movement, Health and Self Defense

Led by Michael Burrell

This class is an examination through movement of how focused interaction with the environment effects fundamental changes in our health and well-being. Work with the mental, physical emotional and spiritual toward integration and awareness.

1:30pm - 2:30pm

Sheng Zhen Meditation of Unconditional Love

Led by Jill Penaloza

A moving and non-moving meditation practice that teaches students how to access energy (qi) to improve physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Opening our Hearts and expanding Loving Presence to benefit others and our Beautiful Earth. Becoming the Embodiment of love.
